Jon grew up in a Christian home and made a profession of faith in Christ at a young age. However, the reality is that he lived a lukewarm life for many years. Because of his sin and failures, he is motivated and burdened to challenge the saved to live fully surrendered lives for Christ, and to evangelize the lost with the message that hope is only found in Christ Jesus (John 14:6).

Jon's passion is to preach the The Word and to encourage and challenge each person to seek God with all of their heart, soul, mind, and strength. Jon's prayer is that those who hear The Word will come to know Jesus Christ as their personal Lord and Savior.

Jon is married to his dear wife Kristin of 16 years, and they have four beautiful children.

Jim joined the MBC staff in 1998. He comes from a long line of musicians, going back 17 generations. Jim has served as the worship leader at various churches over the past 25+ years and is a former member of the singing group, Spiritual Harmony. Jim and his wife, Carol, have been married since 1975. They have three children Chris, Doug, and Cozy, and four grandchildren. He is a 2010 graduate of the University of Tampa with a BS in Accounting.  Jim handles the full complement of worship music for our services and occasionally adds his keyboard skills to the mix  If you are looking for a place to use your talent in ministry, contact Jim to find a fit.
