On Higher Ground (OHG)

Our children are a part of a team of kids and leaders who are climbing higher and higher together in their relationship with Jesus Christ! With every fun and energizing program, our children’s ministry seeks to prepare our children to love God with all their hearts and others as themselves. It is our commitment to glorify God as we as we train our kids to have joyful new lives in Him. Our classes are taught by loving, trained teachers whom God has called to work with children. All activities are planned with each child’s happiness and spiritual growth as a priority.

We have child-centered worship and discipleship each Sunday morning and Wednesday evening in our newly remodeled children's center located on the 2nd floor of the educational building!

• It’s safe! - Security check-points, constant adult supervision
• It’s fun! - We have numerous game rooms for early arrivers, including spacewalks, BIG bouncy balls, air hockey, and many other games and play areas.
• It’s high-tech! – We use a super video projection system to encourage the kids to worship & sing!
• It’s Biblically sound! - Not only do our kids physically meet “on higher ground” (the 2nd floor), but we also take them there spiritually. Kids need a balance in life. After spending all day in the world, they need to get God’s perspective on their purpose in life. They’ll see it, hear it, and experience it at OHG!

   

	Sunday - 9:30am & 11:00 am Kids enjoy their own praise & worship time while adults are in the sanctuary. These sessions include puppet shows and skits, crafts, singing, and awesome Bible stories.
	Wednesday - 6:30 pm AWANA Clubbers, from 3 years old to 6th grade, are challenged to get into God’s Word. Each evening includes: Recreation Time: Fun games are played on the indoor AWANA game square Council Time: A Bible story is told and discussed in a large-group setting Handbook Time: Each child works in their own handbook to earn rewards
